Netwrck vs Janitor AI: Library Size vs a Full Creative Stack
Janitor AI is what a lot of people mean when they say “Character.AI but unfiltered.” The library is the product. Netwrck is the opposite bet: fewer bots, but chat sits next to art, rooms and talking video. If you only ever need a text window, Janitor is hard to beat on volume. If you want the character to exist outside the log, it is not.
Head to head
| Netwrck | Janitor AI | |
|---|---|---|
| Library | Smaller | Very large community bots |
| Models | Hosted; no BYO key required | Free JLLM, proxies, or Janitor+ |
| Context | Hosted windows | ~9k free JLLM; ~45k on Janitor+ |
| NSFW | Allowed with flags | 18+, opt-in; mobile SFW by default |
| Art | RA1 + other generators in-account | Not the product |
| Group / social | Rooms with people + characters | Comments, not shared play |
| Voice / video | Talking avatar + InfiniTalk | None first-party |
| Cost | Free chat, credits for gen | Free, or $12.99/mo, or your API bill |
Janitor’s real advantage is the proxy
A DeepSeek or Claude key on Janitor often beats Janitor+ on quality per dollar if you will tolerate setup. That is a power-user product wearing a website. Netwrck does not ask you to paste a base URL. You pay us in credits when you generate, not when you talk.
What you give up
You will not find a million cards on Netwrck. Character definitions are less of a cottage industry here. If your hobby is collecting bots, stay on Janitor. If your hobby is playing a scene and then pinning a still or a talking take of it, the missing million cards matter less than the missing generator.
Captured Janitor’s public homepage as-is, including the 403. We did not scrape logged-in chats. Netwrck is ours. Pricing as of Aug 2026.
