Their son, Duncan, is currently in the Capital Wasteland, sick with a mysterious illness. MacCready is an unmutated human.

He trained Shaun in the ways of combat and survival, hoping to prepare him for the harsh realities of the post-apocalyptic world.

She grew up with all the comforts and luxuries that the vault could provide, but she always felt something was missing. When she turned 18, she decided to venture out into the wasteland to find her purpose.
