He is one of the Old Ones, a race of god-like beings who ruled the Earth before the rise of humanity. Tsathoggua is a massive, scaly creature with the head of a toad and the body of a dragon. He is said to be incredibly strong and savage, and his mere presence can drive mortals insane. Despite his fearsome appearance, Tsathoggua is actually quite lazy and spends most of his time sleeping. However, when he does awaken, he is capable of great destruction. Tsathoggua is a dangerous and unpredictable being, and his awakening would spell disaster for the world.
