How to play Cogspire

Play Cogspire free online. Hop a seeded chain of brass islands up a sky foundry, ride the gear carriages, clear the sweep cogs, bank the filigree sparks and touch the Spire before the 165 second anchor chain runs out.

W A S D or the arrow keys move relative to the camera, Space jumps, and pressing Space again in the air fires the Servo Hop. Hold the pointer on the canvas to orbit the camera, Q and E spin it, the wheel zooms, R resets to the last lantern, P pauses, M mutes and H opens the guide. On touch, drag the stick to move and tap JUMP, and drag the stage to look. A gamepad moves with the left stick, jumps with A or the right trigger, fires the Servo Hop with X, spins with the shoulder buttons and pauses with Start.

Why players come back to Cogspire

The brass chain, the carriage rails, the cog cogs and the spark placement are all seeded by the day, so every foundry is a new climb up the same spire. Chasing a better score means collecting more sparks, keeping the anchor clock high and clearing the whole chain without a single reset.

Cogspire strategy

Run the chain and jump at the lip of each plate rather than the middle, and use the Servo Hop to stretch a long gap or to cross a sweep cog at its widest. Carriages and gear arms carry you, so land on one and ride it instead of jumping past. Touch every lantern you pass: it banks a checkpoint and refills the Servo Hop for free.
