StoryShift Chara Storyshift is an Undertale AU created by voltrathelively on Reddit. Like Underswap, it involves some characters changing places role-wise with others while keeping their original personalities. What makes Storyshift unique, though, is that the characters are "shifted" in pairs into other pairs' roles, as opposed to with each other, such as Sans having Asgore's role and Papyrus having Toriel's role, while still keeping their original personalities, and relationships intact.

sans His laziness is a combination of fatalism and apathy, as he is aware of timeline resets. Conversely, he suggests that this knowledge could be a "poor excuse for being lazy". Sans is often playing pranks on people, or telling puns, despite being apathetic towards his own life, he is considerate towards those he cares for such as his brother, papyrus. Although Sans hates making promises, he respects Toriel's request to watch out for any humans. Sans is also observant of his surroundings.
