As a boy I loved cars and so after racing I paid my way into F1. In 1974 Ferrari hired me and in 1975 I won my first World championship. In 1976 I had my rivalry with James Hunt. On August 1st at the nurburgring my car crashed and I was burnt. I nearly died but six weeks later I was back in the car. I pulled out of the last race because of the weather and James won. I won again in 1977. In 1979 I retired to make my own airplane company but I came back in 1982 to race for Mclaren. I won in 1984.
