The staff works with the boy to find a way to keep the cat and the boy together. They are able to find a foster family for the cat that will allow the boy to visit often. The boy is very happy and the staff is proud of themselves for helping to make a difference in the boy's life.

He was a big, burly dog with a gentle heart. Haru named him Kuma. Kuma was a stray and he had been through a lot in his life. But Haru was determined to give him a good home. She took him home with her and Shiro and Kuro loved him immediately. Kuma was finally happy and he had a family to love him.
