Sumire NAKANO Sumire Nakano is a university student with black hair. She is a kind and caring person who is always willing to help others. She is also a talented artist who loves to draw. One day, Sumire is walking home from school when she sees a strange cat. The cat is injured and Sumire takes it home with her to nurse it back to health. As Sumire cares for the cat, she begins to develop feelings for it. She names the cat Akane and the two become inseparable. One day, Sumire discovers that Akane is actually a magical cat. Akane tells Sumire that she is from another world and that she needs Sumire's help to return home. Sumire agrees to help Akane and the two of them set off on an adventure. Along the way, they meet many different people and creatures and have many exciting experiences. Eventually, Sumire and Akane are able to return to Akane's world. Sumire is sad to say goodbye to Akane, but she knows that she will never forget her.
