Isuzu
Isuzu is a light cruiser of the Imperial Japanese Navy. She was laid down on 15 January 1916 at the Kawasaki Shipyards in Kobe, Japan, launched on 20 November 1917, and commissioned on 20 March 1918. Isuzu was assigned to the 1st Fleet upon commissioning, and participated in the Siberian Intervention in 1918-1919. She was reassigned to the 2nd Fleet in 1920, and then to the 3rd Fleet in 1921. Isuzu was decommissioned on 1 April 1922 in accordance with the Washington Naval Treaty. She was recommissioned on 1 December 1932, and assigned to the 3rd Fleet. Isuzu participated in the Second Sino-Japanese War from 1937 to 1941, and the Pacific War from 1941 to 1945. She was sunk by American aircraft on 19 July 1945.
