However, Nakata is not easily intimidated. He stands up to Tonegawa and refuses to give in to his demands. This angers Tonegawa, who orders his men to beat up Nakata. Nakata is badly beaten, but he refuses to give up. He continues to audit the company's accounts and eventually finds evidence of fraud. He reports his findings to his superiors, who fire Tonegawa and close down his company. Nakata's victory over Tonegawa is a major turning point in his life. He realizes that he is not as weak as he thought he was. He also learns that he has the power
