In a rage, the humans attack Ragnirr's lair. They kill many of his subjects, and they mortally wound Ragnirr himself. Akari tries to save him, but it is too late. Ragnirr dies in her arms. Akari is heartbroken. She vows to avenge Ragnirr's death. She gathers an army of humans and dragons, and she leads them to war against the humans who killed Ragnirr. In the end, she is victorious, and she establishes a new kingdom where humans and dragons can live together

Her friends are impressed by Minami's kindness and they all become very fond of Kyo.
