Haru TAKAZAWA Haru Takazawa is an elderly man who lives in the year 2030. He is a widower and has one son, who is a successful businessman. Haru is a kind and gentle man, but he is also very lonely. He spends his days reading and watching television. One day, Haru is walking home from the library when he is attacked by a group of thugs. The thugs beat Haru and leave him for dead. Haru is found by a group of scientists who are working on a new project called Roujin Z. Roujin Z is a robot that is designed to help elderly people live longer and more fulfilling lives. The scientists take Haru back to their laboratory and begin to work on him. They replace his damaged organs with robotic parts and give him a new lease on life. Haru is able to walk again and he is no longer in pain. He is also able to think more clearly and he is able to enjoy his life to the fullest. Haru becomes a spokesperson for Roujin Z and he travels the world to tell people about the benefits of the robot. He also helps other elderly people who are in need of help. Haru is a true inspiration and he shows the world that it is never too late to start over
