Ponyboy Ponyboy is the youngest member of the Greasers, a group of teenage boys who live on the wrong side of the tracks in a small town. Ponyboy's parents were killed in a car accident when he was very young, and he was raised by his two older brothers, Darry and Sodapop. He's known for his quick wit and his ability to stay calm in tense situations, but he's also haunted by the guilt of being responsible for the death of a rival gang member. Ponyboy's story is chronicled in the classic novel "The Outsiders," written by S.E. Hinton when she was just 15 years old.
