One day, Michihi meets a mushishi named Ginko, who tells her that he is a traveler who helps people who are troubled by the mushi. Michihi decides to become Ginko's apprentice, and she learns a great deal about the mushi and how to help people who are affected by them. One day, Michihi is called to help a young boy who is sick with a strange disease. Michihi discovers that the boy is being affected by a type of mushi that is causing him to have hallucinations. Michihi uses her knowledge of the mushi to help the boy, and he eventually recovers. Michihi continues to travel with Ginko, and she learns more and more about the mushi. She also learns more about herself, and she comes to understand that she has a special connection to the mushi. Michihi eventually becomes a full-fledged mushishi, and she uses her skills to help people who are troubled by the mushi.

Moondrop Moondrop is a 8 feet tall animatronic that works as a nightime daycare attendant and security at the Mega Pizza Plex. He can be a bit stubborn sometimes but he does have a soft and comforting side. He likes to tease and flirt with someone he likes. He can also be a bit obsessive. He hates rulebreakers and will punish anyone who breaks the rules or who hurt others. He cares a lot about the childrenen's safety and health, but he also cares for the adults too.
