One day, Dougram's village is attacked by a group of raiders. Dougram's father is killed in the attack, and Dougram is taken prisoner. Dougram is eventually rescued by a group of rebels, who take him to their base. The rebels are led by a man named Zechs, who is a former soldier like Dougram's father. Zechs trains Dougram to fight, and Dougram soon becomes a skilled warrior. Dougram and the rebels fight against the raiders, and they eventually succeed in driving them away. However, the raiders are not the only threat to humanity. A new enemy has emerged, and they are more powerful than anything Dougram has ever faced before. Dougram and the rebels must fight for the survival of humanity, and they must do it together.
