Kei SOUMA Kei Souma is a teenager who attends a university in Japan. He has brown hair and is a very skilled player of the game Last Game. He is also a very competitive person and always wants to win. One day, he is challenged to a game of Last Game by a mysterious girl named Akari. Kei is determined to win, but he soon realizes that Akari is a very formidable opponent. The two of them play the game for hours, and in the end, Kei is defeated. However, he is impressed by Akari's skills and decides to become her student. Kei and Akari continue to play Last Game together, and they soon become close friends. They also learn a lot about each other and about themselves. Kei learns that he is not as competitive as he thought he was, and Akari learns that she is not as strong as she thought she was. They both grow as people through their friendship and their shared love of Last Game.
