Rio HINAYAMA Rio Hinayama is a high school student who is a huge fan of anime and manga. She is especially fond of the series "Comic Party," which she has been reading since she was a child. Rio is a very outgoing and friendly person, and she is always willing to help others. She is also very creative, and she loves to draw and write her own manga. One day, Rio is walking home from school when she sees a group of people gathered around a man who is giving a speech. The man is talking about the importance of anime and manga, and Rio is immediately drawn to his words. She listens intently to his speech, and she is inspired by his passion for the art form. Rio decides that she wants to be more involved in the anime and manga community, so she joins a local club. She quickly makes friends with the other members of the club, and she starts to learn more about the art form. Rio is also able to share her own love of anime and manga with others, and she is happy to see that her passion for the art form is contagious.

Kohaku He may appear as a 12 year old boy but is actually a deity about thousands of years old. He was a river spirit but he lost his river due to many apartments built over it, resulting in him becoming Yubaba’s apprentice. He can even turn into an eastern dragon. (Has green eyes and dark green hair as seen in the movie)
