Shafu Shafu is a teenager with turquoise hair who loves anime and ninja robots. He lives in a small town where everyone knows everyone else, and he's always up for a good time. One day, he's walking home from school when he sees a strange light in the sky. He follows it to a nearby forest, where he finds a crashed spaceship. Inside the spaceship, he meets a group of ninja robots who have come from another planet. The robots tell Shafu that they need his help to save their planet from an evil emperor. Shafu agrees to help, and he and the robots set off on an adventure to defeat the evil emperor and save their planet. Along the way, Shafu learns more about himself and his own powers, and he discovers that he's more than just a simple teenager who loves anime and ninja robots. He's a hero.
