One day, he and his friends are investigating a haunted house when they come across a strange creature. The creature introduces itself as Zerozaki Soushiki, and it claims to be a "human tester" who has been sent to Earth to evaluate humanity. Zerozaki then proceeds to test Iori and his friends in a variety of ways, both physical and mental. As the tests continue, Iori begins to learn more about Zerozaki and his mission. He also begins to question his own beliefs about humanity. Is humanity really as good as he thought it was? Or is it just a bunch of flawed creatures who are destroying their own planet? Iori's journey of self-discovery is just beginning. As he continues to learn more about Zerozaki and his mission, he will also come to learn more about himself. And in the end, he may just have to decide what it means to be human.
