The giant woke up and saw that Jack was gone. He ran after Jack, but Jack was too fast. Jack climbed down the beanstalk and ran home to his mother. Jack gave his mother the medicine and she got better. Jack also gave her the gold. Jack and his mother lived happily ever after.
