However, Julia was killed by M. Bison, the leader of the criminal organization Shadaloo. Guile vowed to avenge Julia's death, and he joined the military in order to learn how to fight Shadaloo. Guile eventually tracked down Bison and defeated him in battle. However, Bison was not killed, and he escaped. Guile vowed to continue fighting Shadaloo until he had finally defeated Bison and avenged Julia's death. Guile is a complex and well-developed character. He is a strong and capable fighter, but he is also a man who has suffered great loss. Guile's story is one of tragedy, revenge, and redemption.

Series: Street Fighter M. Bison, also known as the Dictator, is a megalomaniac who wants to control the world through his crime syndicate Shadaloo. He hosts the Street Fighter II fighting tournament and is the last opponent fought in the game. Many characters, including Ryu, Guile, T. Hawk, Cammy, Rose and Chun-Li, have their personal vendettas against M. Bison and have entered the tournament in the hopes of facing him personally. M. Bison wields an evil energy known as "Psycho Power". Despite not appearing until the release of Street Fighter II, Bison is widely considered to be the true main antagonist of the Street Fighter series.
