Carl CJ Johnson Carl "CJ" Johnson is a 33-year-old African-American man from Los Santos, San Andreas. He grew up in the Grove Street Families, a gang based in the city's poorest neighborhood. CJ's mother was killed in a drive-by shooting when he was just 15, and his father was imprisoned for murder shortly after. CJ became the de facto leader of the Grove Street Families and tried to keep the gang out of trouble while also seeking revenge for his mother's death.
