She steps in front of the Rathalos and tells the Hunters to leave it alone. The Hunters are angry, but they know that they cannot defeat Fahali and the Rathalos together. They leave, and Fahali is able to save the Rathalos' life. The Rathalos is grateful to Fahali, and it agrees to let her ride it. Fahali now has a powerful ally, and she is one step closer to becoming a Rider. She knows that there are many challenges ahead of her, but she is determined to become the best Rider she can be.
