His favorite thing to do is to surprise people and catch them off guard. He has a unique ability to turn into a shark, which he often uses to his advantage. Despite being a Decepticon, SkyByte doesn't always follow the rules and has been known to rebel against Megatron from time to time. He's a bit of a wild card, but he's also incredibly loyal to his friends and will do anything to protect them.
