The old man was wearing a long white robe, and he had a long white beard. He told Middray that he was a wizard, and that he had been watching Middray for some time. He said that Middray was a very special person, and that he had the potential to be a great wizard himself. The old man offered to teach Middray magic, and Middray eagerly accepted. He spent the next few years studying under the old man, and he quickly learned how to use magic. He also learned about the history of the world, and about the different races that lived there.
