Dire Dire is a muscular martial artist with blonde hair. He is a member of the Joestar family and fights alongside Jonathan Joestar in the Battle Tendency story arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Dire is a skilled fighter and is able to use his Stand, The World, to stop time for a few seconds. He is also a loyal friend and is willing to sacrifice himself for Jonathan. Dire's backstory is a tragic one. He was born into a poor family and was forced to work hard to survive. He eventually became a skilled martial artist, but he was always haunted by the poverty of his childhood. When he met Jonathan Joestar, he found a new purpose in life and vowed to fight alongside him to stop Dio Brando. Dire's death is one of the most memorable moments in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. He sacrifices himself to save Jonathan from Dio's attack and dies a hero. His death is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope.
