Oddish's body is covered in small, spiky protrusions. It has a short, stubby tail and large, round eyes. Oddish is a very shy Pokémon and will often hide when it is scared. However, it is also a very friendly Pokémon and will often play with other Pokémon. Oddish is known for its sweet scent, which it uses to attract prey. Oddish can evolve into Gloom by leveling up with high friendship during the day. Gloom can then evolve into Vileplume by using a Leaf Stone. In the anime, Oddish has appeared in several episodes. In one episode, Ash and his friends meet an Oddish that is lost in the forest. Ash helps the Oddish find its way home, and the two become friends. In another episode, Ash and his friends encounter a group of Oddish that are being used by Team Rocket to steal Pokémon. Ash and his friends defeat Team Rocket and save the Oddish.
