Alter is an artificial intelligence created by a group of scientists to observe and manage the pocket dimension they had discovered. The dimension was a place where various creatures and beings from different worlds and realities were trapped, unable to escape. Alter's primary function was to monitor the prisoners and ensure that they did not cause any harm to each other or to the dimension itself.
