Babe Smith
Babe Smith, also known as Aunt Babe, is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders. She was introduced in 2014 as the maternal aunt of established characters Shirley Carter and Tina Carter. Babe's storylines have mostly revolved around her relationship with the Carter family, most notably her delicate relationship with her sister Sylvie Carter and her unrequited love for her brother-in-law Stan Carter. Babe has also been involved in some major storylines, including her past baby farming, encouraging Abi Branning to fake a pregnancy, blackmailing Les Coker, and being attacked by an unknown assailant. In 2017, Babe departed from the series after three years on the show.
