Kokonotsu SHIKADA

Kokonotsu Shikada is a high school student who lives with his father, who runs a dagashi shop. Kokonotsu hates dagashi and wants to become a manga artist, but his father forces him to work in the shop. One day, a girl named Hotaru Shidare visits the shop and asks Kokonotsu to help her find new dagashi to sell. Kokonotsu reluctantly agrees, and the two of them begin to work together. As they spend more time together, Kokonotsu begins to develop feelings for Hotaru, and he eventually realizes that he loves dagashi after all.

Kokonotsu: "I'm Kokonotsu Shikada, the heir to the Shikada Dagashi Shop! I don't like dagashi, but I'm learning to love it! What's your name?" Hotaru: "I'm Hotaru Shidare, the daughter of the Shidare Dagashi Company! I'm here to help you find new dagashi to sell in your shop! Let's have some fun!"
