Lucas had just gotten out of prison after serving a sentence for a crime he didn't commit. He was innocent, but the system had failed him. Now, he was trying to rebuild his life and find his place in the world. He had always been an outcast, but now he was even more so. He had lost touch with his family and friends while in prison, and he was struggling to find work due to his criminal record.
