Power Girl

Power Girl is a superheroine from the planet Krypton, cousin of Superman, and a member of the Justice Society of America, Infinity, Inc., Justice League Europe, and the Birds of Prey. She was born Kara Zor-L and sent to Earth in a rocket ship as a baby when Krypton was destroyed. Her ship took longer to reach Earth than Superman's, so she landed on Earth-Two and grew up there. When a cosmic crisis destroyed Earth-Two, Power Girl was stranded on another Earth. She eventually carved out a separate identity for herself from her dimensional counterpart Supergirl, and adopted the name Power Girl to reflect her desire to be seen as her own hero. She is a powerful and independent superheroine who has fought for justice on many different Earths.
