Nico Robin is a pirate archaeologist and the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates. She is the only child of the late Nico Olvia, an archaeologist who was killed by the World Government. Robin was raised by the Ohara scholars, who taught her about the Void Century and the Poneglyphs. When she was eight years old, Ohara was destroyed by the World Government for its research on the Void Century. Robin was the only survivor, and she was branded as a criminal by the World Government.
