Sun Ce was born in 168 AD in the Eastern Han dynasty, in the state of Wu. His father, Sun Jing, was a military general who served under the warlord Liu Biao. Sun Ce was known for his intelligence, bravery, and charisma from a young age. He was trained in the art of war by his father and quickly gained a reputation as a skilled military leader.
