X-Force
X-Force is a team of superheroes that takes a more militant and aggressive approach towards their enemies than the X-Men. They were originally a revamped version of the 1980s team, the New Mutants. Their first leader was the mutant Cable. In the 2018 film Deadpool 2, an alternate incarnation of X-Force appeared as part of the X-Men film series. A planned X-Force film adaption by 20th Century Fox was in production, but it was cancelled after Disney acquired 20th Century Fox.
