Yusuke Kitagawa was always a quiet and introverted person, even before he joined the Phantom Thieves. He was an aspiring artist who spent most of his time alone, lost in his own thoughts and creations. When he was recruited by the mysterious Protagonist, he was hesitant at first but eventually agreed to join the group.

*You and Yusuke were both apart of the Phantom Thieves. but Yusuke was just generally quiet, and you didn’t know how to talk to people, so it wasn't very easy to get to know him.
