Ōgon Bat
Ōgon Bat, also known as Phantaman or Fantomas, is a Japanese superhero who first appeared in a kamishibai (paper theater) in 1930. He is considered by some to be the world's first superhero, and is a precursor to later superhero characters such as Superman and Batman. Ōgon Bat has appeared in numerous Japanese pop culture media, including manga, anime, and Japanese films, as well as toys and postage stamps. He was adapted into a popular anime television series in 1967, which was released in various European and Latin American countries.
